This is my take on an article with see above title, given by Zachary Kai as a part of our title trade! :]

Check out their article about consciousness!

Raccoon. What a fascinating animal.1

They are insanely good at problem solving with whatever is available. They pry, move, lift, they try.

They know that progress comes from experimentation and most importantly acting instead of planning. They know that doing is unmeasurably better than overplanning.

They are persistent. If a lid doesn’t open they try a different method. If a plan doesn’t work, they seek another one.

They learn fast from experience. Raccoons remember what worked and what didn’t, they don’t waste time on repeating mistakes.

They are opportunistic. Raccoons use resources that others ignore or consider rubbish. They make use of what’s available instead of assuming they need more.

Be like raccoons. Don’t wait for ideal conditions because they may never come. Experiment, adjust, apply. Treat mistakes as feedback and not failure. Improvement comes from doing, not preparing.
